Attention SaaS Clarity Customers utilizing SSO
Potential action required by 3/18/2023
On March 18th 2023 @ 10:00 AM EST, Broadcom will be updating their SSL Certificate for the Broadcom Login URL (https://login.broadcom.com/), which is used for authenticating Broadcom’s SaaS Clarity users via Single Sign On (SSO).
Who is Impacted?
All Broadcom Clarity SaaS customers using SSO (Single Sign On) for authentication.
If you utilize native Clarity user authentication (storing and maintaining user passwords in the Clarity application), no actions are required
What do you need to do?
- Use the link to validate the root certificate. If your browser loads this page without warning, it trusts the new certificate
- If the page doesn’t load then customers need to import the certificate in this KB Article in their proxy servers, browsers, email clients, VPN clients, mobile devices, operating systems, etc. else end users will see following message after authenticating on customer IDP login
No impacts to end users are anticipated for most customers. Some customers that maintain a custom certificate store, may need to update their store with the new root certificate. If required, perform the update to your certificate store prior to this maintenance to avoid interruption of end user access.
